Principal's Message
Hello Klahowya Families and Students,
Tonight National Honor Society students will be celebrated in the KSS Library at 6 p.m. and
after school, Middle School students have their last MS Social for the school year. This week
we celebrated our Senior Class on Wednesday evening for Eagle Scholars and Senior Awards
Night. We have an amazing group of talented Seniors and are very excited for their futures as
they graduate from High School! Thank you to the Student Service Center for the beautifully
organized ceremony. Senior Prom was a great success at Gold Mountain Golf Club last Saturday,
Seniors, you looked amazing!
Next week, we have a couple of concerts scheduled, a 5th grade visit on Monday and an 8th
grade dance on Friday. Parents who are dropping off students for the 5th grade visit are
welcome to wait in your cars or enjoy a walk in the Children’s Forest as your student gets
to know our school. We will also be celebrating KSS athletes who will be playing a sport in
College on Thursday, June 6th at 6 p.m. Nice work on your scholarships athletes!
Thank you for all of your support for our KSS students! Have a great weekend!

Attendance/Tardies/Early Dismissals
Early Dismissal
Send a note with your student stating the time of dismissal, reason and name of person who
will be picking up student. Student should, when possible, arrange for dismissal through the
Attendance Office before school starts. Otherwise, we ask for at LEAST 30 minutes. This
will avoid trying to track down a student that might be at lunch, an assembly or outside
for PE. Students who do not check out through attendance are TRUANT.
