A note from our Athletic Director

Hello Eagles Fans!!

We are excited to be able to have spectators in the stands this season. There are some district rules that need to be followed if you will be attending a Volleyball, Soccer or Football game this season

As discussed previously, protocols are constantly changing. A few of those changes are listed below.

  • We have changed our seating capacity for our stands to allow for social distancing: KSS- 600 in the stadium
  • Masking and Social Distancing is REQUIRED for all spectators regardless of vaccination status Indoors AND Outdoors (Football games).
  • Masking is REQUIRED to purchase a ticket.
  • All Home games will be available on our Free Live Streaming! JV Volleyball Varsity Volleyball Varsity Soccer FOOTBALL

Disabled parking is VERY limited, but we will open the bus lane to allow people to be dropped off closer to the field (Football and Soccer). We are working on a system that will allow a credit/debit card to be used as payment at football games. However, technology can be spotty at times, so bring cash if possible.

Adults $6.00, visiting students with ASB $4.00, students without ASB $6.00, senior citizens (62 years and up) $4.00, preschool children free when accompanied by an adult.  Free entrance with a Klahowya ASB card.

Athletic paperwork is required to participate in sports at Klahowya.  We use a service called Final Forms for easy, online registration. Families will be asked to create an account, with options to register more than one student.  Please visit our Athletic Registration page for the link to Final Forms. is the official website of the Nisqually League conference.  Klahowya uses this website for our school sports information — schedules, game changes, scores, standings and more!  Be sure to check frequently for schedule changes of both middle and high school sports.

Attendance Reminder

Students must attend school the full day on the day of the practice or contest unless they have a note verifying the absence was due to an appointment with a physician and/or this physician approves their participation. The student must participate in all courses and classroom activities. Exceptions must be made with the coach and a representative of the building eligibility board.

Concussion Testing

All high school student athletes are required to have Impact Concussion Testing every two years.  This testing is available at Klahowya and can be scheduled with our Athletic Trainer, Kyle Ottenbacher

Spectator Information

The following guidelines are currently in effect for home games:

Game Entrance Fees

Nisqually League high school football, basketball, and wrestling game entrance fees:

  • Adults and Students without an ASB card - $6

  • KSS Students at Home Game with ASB card – Free

  • Visiting Students with ASB card and Elementary Students - $4

  • Seniors 62 and over - $4

  • Students 5 yrs and under – Free

  • All other HOME Sport games are free

Transportation to Games

It is the District's policy to transport all student athletes to and from events.  If there is an exceptional circumstance which makes it necessary for a parent to transport their student, the "Consent to Use Private Transportation" must be completed and delivered to the coach no later than the day prior to the event.  

The form must be given to the coach no later than the day prior to the athletic event.

More Information

  • Read the CKSD Guideline detailing things parents should know about supporting their school teams.
  • Students who are not in a SUPERVISED after-school sport or activity immediately after school need to leave the building at the end of the school day.  Students who drive themselves should leave as soon as the buses depart; students who do not drive are expected to take the bus home or be picked up promptly (no later than 3 p.m.).
