Extended Absences (3 or more days)
If your student will be gone for an extended period, please notify the
Attendance Office at least two weeks in advance and the Attendance Office
will provide a form for the student to take around to their teachers. We
understand that emergencies may occur. Please have your student
correspond with their teachers via Google Classroom regarding work.

Baccalaureate - Calling All Seniors
Save June 9, 2pm for your graduate's Baccalaureate. Baccalaureate
is an open, non-denominational, inspirational service for all graduating
seniors. This service is parent sponsored, not school or district. This
years Klahowya Baccalaureate will be held at Newlife Training Center,
9923 Poplars Ave NW, Silverdale.
All are welcome to attend baccalaureate. If you would like to perform at
Baccalaureate, auditions will be May 28th in the auditorium from 2:45-3:45.
We are looking for artists, musicians, vocalists, student speakers and/or any
student who wants to have a say in this year’s Baccalaureate. Baccalaureate
is an open, non-denominational, inspirational service for all graduating seniors
where you’ll get to showcase and bless others with your talents. This service
is parent sponsored, not school or district.
Talent Show
Can you sing? Dance? Play an instrument? Do you have a hidden talent? It's
time for you to show Klahowya your talent at our upcoming Talent Show!
Auditions will be today, May 10th after school in the auditorium.
Auditions are open to all grades 6th through 12th grade. Come prepared
with your act and all materials needed. *Seniors, this is your last chance
to show your talents off. Come out for auditions! The Talent Show will
be held on Friday, May 17th at 6:00PM. If you have any questions, see

Klahowya Drama Club
KSS Drama Club is partnering with Olympic and Central Kitsap High School
drama clubs to present a festival of One-Act Plays on Thursday, May 16th
through Saturday, May 18th. Thursday and Friday's performances will be at
7:00pm and Saturday's will be at 2:00pm. All performances will be held at
the Central Kitsap Performing Arts Center (attached to CK High). Come see
Klahowya students perform in "The Dragon and the Pearl," "Battle of What
Bridge," and "Killing Death." Tickets are available online at CKPAC.org.
Klahowya Eagles Band Parent Association (KEBPA)
The Klahowya Eagles Band Parent Association (KEBPA) is holding our May
general meeting on Monday, May 13th, at 6:00 p.m. in the band room.
We are a group of parents and guardians dedicated to supporting our student
musicians and the Klahowya band program.
We invite you to attend meetings and to learn more about us, the band
programs, and to see what amazing things we can accomplish together
for our musicians!"
Middle School Social
All Middle School students are invited to join us for The Greatest Show, our
final social of the year on Friday, May 31, 2:45-4:45. There will be music,
games, face painting, a cake walk, snacks, and much more! The cost is $7
with an ASB card/$10 without.Beginning May 20, we will be collecting
donations of individually wrapped candy, cake mixes, and frosting. All

Middle School Track & Field Pre-Season Merchandise Order
If you are planning to participate in MS Track & Field in September, and
would like to have your merchandise the first day of school, this is your
chance. We are selling T-shirts and Hoodies through Thursday, May 23.
