While not sponsered by Klahowya, Klahowya parents are hosting a Baccalaureate Service for interested seniors and their families. The service will be held at Evergreen Lutheran Church beginning at 4:00 p.m.
June 14 Last Day of Classes for Seniors
June 15 - Moving Up Assembly & Graduation Practice - 11:55 p.m. time may change slightly - Seniors will be included in the Moving Up Assembly. Please come in aloha gear if possible.
At 1:15 p.m. ALL graduation seniors will attend graduation practice in the Auxilary Gym. During the rehearsal, graduates in the ceremony will have an opportunity to select who they would like to walk with and sit next to during the ceremony.
*All fees & fines need to be cleared before attending practice.
NON-SCHOOL SPONSORED EVENTS
June 16 - Graduation Practice 8:00 a.m. - REQUIRED
All participating Seniors must attend the Required Graduation Practice at 8:30 a.m. of Friday, June 16th. A continental breakfast will be available at 8:00 a.m. We will begin practice in the main gym for our class photo. Please make sure to wear your cap, gown, stole and tassel for this.
June 16 GRADUATION 6:00 p.m.
Klahowya Graduation will take place in the Klahowya Footbal Field and spectators will mainly be seated in our stadium with some chair seating on the track. Graduating Seniors should arrive at the Klahowya Auxiliary Gym no later than 4:30 p.m.. Family and guests attending graduation will be allowed to enter the stadium seating area beginning at 5:15 p.m. (45 minutes prior to the celebration). All attendees will need to have a ticket to attend the graduation event. (Children under 2 do not need a ticket). To request additional tickets, Seniors can use the form provided in their Senior packet (to be handed out May 19th). Return the form to the main office. If Seniors have any questions about tickets, they may come to the main office.
Please utilize the lined parking spots in our main parking lots. Limited ADA parking is available near the stadium and a disability placard is required to park in this location. If this ADA parking near the stadium fills, additional ADA vehicle parking is at the top of the hill.
During graduation,we will provide a live video stream for all family and friends who are not able to attend in person. This link will be shared on our Social Media sites, via email, and on our school website. We will also post a recording of graduation on our website.
During graduation, seniors will receive diploma covers. June 19-23, seniors will sign for and pick up their diplomas at Klahowya Main Office.
Please remember that all seniors must meet graduation requirements and will be cleared prior to the Graduation Rehearsal. this means that all textbooks, materials, and Chromebooks need to be returned. Seniors will also need to clear fine balances and must meet all academic requirements. As a reminder to all our seniors - if you do not get these items completed, you may not be eligible to attend the graduation rehearsalthat is required to be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
All participating graduates will need to wear the required cap, gown, stole and tassel. Please do not decorate hats or stoles, and please wear appropriate graduation apparel. We will review appropriate graduation attire at graduation practice on June 15th & 16th.

A professional photograph will be taken as each graduate receives his/her diploma. No other photographers will be allowed to stand near the stage or in the aisles.
