Attention high schoolers… Do you find interest in aviation, want to be a pilot, or think airplanes are cool? Join the aviation club! The first meeting is on October 5th at 2:45 in Ms. Day's room.
Hey kids! Our wonderful paraeducators are now available to help during Thursday study halls! We will be in the common so don't hesitate to pull one of us aside. We are here to help!
Boys tennis dropped a tough one to league leading Vashon Island 2-3. 1st double Gabe Gonzales and Jack Lindberg played their best match of the year winning 7-6 6-4. 2nd doubles Kade Webber and Fred Zeller were on fire taking down their opponent 7-5 6-4. The Eagles dropped 2nd singles and 3rd double in tough 3 set matches. The boys travel to LCA on Monday.
Last night the girls soccer team faced off against the 4A South Kitsap Wolves. While the JV played hard, they were unable to find a victory. Then the varsity kicked off and almost immediately, Sylvia Kemp took the ball down the outside and crossed to freshman Skyla Hamley who put the ball in the back of the net for a goal in 45 seconds. The rest of the game was a battle. With Abbie Frohman leading the defense, and Eee-suh Perez-Giner in goal, the Eagles shut down the wolf attacks for 78 minutes and brought home a 1-0 victory.
Did you know there are bees nests in the wooded area out back? Please leave them alone. BEE nice, BEE kind, let them BEE!
Just a reminder that we now have a no cell phone policy during the school day. Cell phones off and away during the day!

Attention high school students, next week our Fall Open Gyms start. Tuesday 9/22 and Thursday 9/23 please join us in the main gym from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm for some Open Gym Hoops. Please note that in order to participate you must be registered in Final Forms for the activity of Fall Open Gyms. For any questions please contact Coach Chris. Go Eagles!

Now students, I want you to close your eyes and imagine you're a little bee floating around from flower to flower enjoying the sunshine. As you head back to your hive you burrow into the warm honeycomb to drop off your pollen when BAM a rock hits you in the head. Yeah… not pleasant and you’d be mad too! Avoid getting stung and leave the bees alone!

Boys Tennis falls to Charles Wright 2-3. The Eagles had solid performances from Fred Zeller and Kade Weber at #2 doubles winning 6-1 6-1. #3 doubles Noah Place and Elliot Mills controlled their match from the start 6-2 6-1. The Eagles host 1st place Vashon Island Thursday.

Boys Tennis squeaked out a close one beating Bremerton 4-3. It was a doubles sweep for the Eagles but it wasn’t easy. 1st doubles Jack Lindberg/Gabe Gonzales won 7-5 6-3. Fred Zeller/Kade Weber came alive in the 3rd set winning #2 doubles 6-4 5-7 6-0. Last year's 3rd doubles team Noah Place/Elliot Mills found their old magic cruising to a 6-2 6-0 W. 4th doubles Ryland Koebelin/Leland Geiger dug deep sealing the win for the boys 4-6 6-2 6-4. Next up at CWA today.

Seniors and teachers, it’s time to vote for the Class of 2027 Homecoming Court! Vote for the people you think best represent the Class of 2027 — students who show school spirit, are involved in our school community, have a positive attitude, and represent what it means to be a great Eagle. Voting closes Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 PM, so make sure you get your vote in! Good luck to everyone running for Homecoming Court!
Boys tennis lost their home opener 2-3 to Annie Wright. Asher Roark and Fred Zeller won their 2nd doubles match 6-4 6-1. 3rd doubles Braden Kimble and Elliot Mills also came away with a victory 6-1 6-4. The next match is away at Bremerton.

Due to a barcode issue, many of the blue Chemistry books checked out last year were not returned. If you have one, will you please return it to the library ASAP.
Seniors! All enrolled seniors are automatically candidates for Homecoming Court 2026. If you do not want to be considered, check the Stream in your Class of 2027 Google Classroom for the form to have your name removed. The deadline is Thursday, September 10 at 2:30 PM. Voting begins Friday, so if you want to be considered, you don’t need to do anything!
The Eagle's Landing - our student store - will not be open this afternoon after school. We need just a little more time to get up and running. We'll be open next Thursday for your snack needs before practice.

Congratulations goes out to the HS Football team as they beat Coupeville, 34-13. Big plays by Cohen W., Ayden H. Zane T., Bennett N.and Dalton W. Our next game will be away this Thursday vs Kingston.

The first High School Cooking and Community meeting will take place in room 400 on October 13th. Please make sure to sign up on Final Forms. Hope to see you there.
Boys Tennis win 7 of 10 Sets at the South Kitsap Jamboree. The Eagles went 3-1 vs Sequim, 2-1 vs Port Angeles, 1-1 vs South Kitsap and 1-0 vs Bremerton. Kade Weber, Fred Zeller, Leland Geiger, and Ryland Koebelin all were undefeated on the day. League play starts at Seattle Christian on Tuesday.
