About Klahowya

About Klahowya

A group of students and a teacher interact in a classroom setting.

Klahowya celebrates being named one of the top high schools in the Nation by preparing for another year of excellence. That is right — the outstanding work of students, school employees, parents/guardians, and school district administrators was commemorated last spring by the ranking in the U.S. News Magazine as one of the top high schools in the United States.

We serve more than 1,000 students in grades 6 to 12.

At Klahowya, we work extremely hard at the middle school level to provide our students with the study habits and the skills necessary to successfully complete advanced placement (AP) courses at the high school level. As evidenced by our ranking, our program successfully prepares students for rigorous coursework in high school and in post-secondary education.

With your help, we will continue to refine our program so that all students are prepared for advanced placement coursework in high school. It is important that all students challenge themselves by completing at least one AP course in high school. An AP course is a college course that students complete with support from Klahowya Staff. Successful completion of an AP course assures students that they are prepared for college and other life challenges. These courses help build confidence in our students. These courses help our students believe that hard work enables all of us to succeed.

As we continue to improve our academic and our extra-curricular programs, we will refine our practice and our structure in order to better meet the needs of our students, our parents and our staff.

    Interlude

    Eagle’s spirit will not rest
We will put it to the test
    Together Eagles find a way
    Proudly Eagles win the day
    Tonight! That’s right!
    We win for K-S-S!
