A message from Principal McDaniel

Hello Klahowya Students and Families,

I hope you had a chance to see our email yesterday regarding Safety and students returning to school. As a reminder, students in grades 6 and 12 will return beginning on April 12 (Phase 5) and all remaining students will return beginning on April 19 (Phase 6). As we prepare for these phases, All Study Halls will conclude next week to allow for school to resume on campus.

If you haven't done so already, please check out the following videos to help our students to be Safe, Kind and Ready for school. Early next week we will confirm student groups and will send you more details on the format of the student day.

Presentation 1 - Staying Home When Sick

Presentation 2 - Wearing Masks

Presentation 3 - Social Distancing

Presentation 4 - Hand Washing

Early next week we will send you additional information on the instructional model and what the student day looks like. We will also send you a confirmation email with your cohort grouping that indicates the days that your student is scheduled to attend school.

If you are looking for further information, we are also holding informational meetings regarding the return of students to the Klahowya Campus. During these meetings we will cover student safety protocols, logistical items that pertain to students returning to campus, and an overview of what will happen during a typical student day. For your convenience, we have two different meetings with different times. (The content will be the same in both meetings). Following a short presentation, there will be an opportunity to have your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you at one of our sessions!
