Dear Klahowya Families and Students,

Please join us in congratulating the Class of 2022 on their Graduation from High School! Our graduating Senior Class showed us their resiliency, determination, and stamina during the Class of 2022 graduation last night. We didn't let the clouds that make our beautiful campus so green dampen the celebration of all the students’ hard work. We are impressed with the Class of 2022 and are so proud of their accomplishment!

For all other grade levels, our work for the year is not yet complete. Finals have begun and continue through Tuesday. Our awards assemblies for Middle School then High School are on Wednesday. Then, we have some fun events planned for our last day of school. On Thursday, there will be a staff versus high school student softball game and Middle School students will have a field day from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. During these events, there is the possibility that students may get wet.

As a reminder, school is dismissed at 11:00 am on the last day of school and we will have sack lunches available for any students who may need them.

TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS

Go to Parchment.com to submit your request, please be aware your transcript will then be sent out the next business day if this request is during the school year. This service provides convenient, easy and secure online transcript requests for both current and former students of Central Kitsap high schools. Be sure to use your personal email address when setting up your Parchment account. Those under 18 will need parent signatures. Please note that each transcript costs $3.75 for former students and are free for current students. For students wanting a copy of their final transcript after 2nd Semester grades are in, be sure to select the option to “Send transcript after grades are posted.” If you have any transcript requests after June 17th when KSS is closed please contact CKSD Archives at (360) 662-9270.

If you did not get a chance to purchase a 2021-2022 Klahowya yeabook they will be available at the bookkeeper's window for $50 while supplies last.

ATHLETICS

Please register for the 22-23 sports season https://centralkitsap-wa.finalforms.com/ Once you are registered, coaches will communicate any summer practices and schedules through Final Forms.

Fall Sports begin in August. August 17 Football begins and August 22 Boys Tennis, Cross Country, Girls Soccer, Girls Swim, and Girls Volleyball. Register NOW!!

CKSD Summer School Registration is OPEN! If you are behind in credits, incompleted or failed a course, or want to get ahead in courses, consider taking a class this summer. Sign up at ckschools.org/summer.

Moving Schools Over the Summer?

If you plan to have your student attend a school other than KSS in the 22-23 school year, please contact the KSS Registrar, Dina Lane, as soon as possible. If you have already notified us of a withdrawal, there is nothing more you need to do. [email protected]

Families that are leaving the district need to make sure all items out are turned into the library and/or main office before June 17th.
