Classroom Based Assessment (CBA)
Understanding the causes of conflicts may help us resolve current conflicts or even prevent future ones from occurring. You will research a revolution and analyze its causes from different social science perspectives.
In a cohesive and persuasive paper, you will:
- ï€ State a position on the main cause in your chosen conflict .
- Provide reasons for your position that include:
- An evaluation of factors causing the revolution from three or more of the following social science perspectives (See attached glossary)
- political
- economic
- cultural/social
- Relevant information from four sources (at least two of these must be primary sources) to support reasons for the position.
- Make explicit references within the paper to four or more credible sources that provide relevant information AND use parenthetical citations to cite sources within the paper.

Glossary of social science perspectives
Political:
- dealing with the structure or affairs of government, politics, or the state
- the art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of
- apolitical entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs.

Economic:
