- Communist leaders such as Vladimir Lenin
- Communist leaders such as Mao Zedong
- The Non-Aligned Movement, which presented an alternative political bloc to the Cold War
- The Anti-Apartheid Movement in South Africa.
- Participants in the global uprisings of 1968
- The Tiananmen Square protesters in China
Each group will have one of the above. What was it that they “opposed”? What was it that they “promoted”? Give both sides of the issue/2 different POV’s. Each group submits their results electronically to Mr. Kreifels by Tuesday.
