WSMC State HS Math Competition

Klahowya’s High School Math team turned in its best performance in 20 years at the WSMC State HS Math Competition at Central Washington University on Saturday.

Connor Swaney and Zachary Nunez placed first in both the Team Problem and Topical Team Problems events in Division II (1A schools and smaller).  The really big checks that they are holding represent $1,000 tuition waivers at CWU should they decide to attend there.

Tanner Weaver and Liam Odum placed second in the Division II Topical Team Problems event.

Shaela Haga, Hope Martin, and Drew Kraft finished 7th in the Division II Topical Team Problems event.
