Attendance Reminder

Students must attend school the full day on the day of the practice or contest unless they have a note verifying the absence was due to an appointment with a physician and/or this physician approves their participation. The student must participate in all courses and classroom activities. Exceptions must be made with the coach and a representative of the building eligibility board.

Concussion Testing

All high school student athletes are required to have Impact Concussion testing every two years. This testing is available at Klahowya and can be scheduled with our Athletic Trainer, Robin King (662-4178). More information can be found on our Sports Medicine website.

Transportation to Games

Transport Own Child form should be completed if a parent wants their child to ride home with them following an event, rather than school transportation. If an athlete is to ride home with another parent, please complete an Authorization for Student to Travel with Another Parent form.

The form should be given to the coach prior to the athletic event.

Students who are not in a SUPERVISED after-school sport or activity immediately after school need to leave the building at the end of the school day.  Students who drive themselves should leave as soon as the busses depart; students who do not drive are expected to take the bus home or be picked up promptly (no later than 3 p.m.).
